The Human Rights for Beginners programme is based on the Council of Europe’s educational project ‘Free to Speak, Safe to Learn – Democratic Schools for All’. In the context of the dissemination of democratic culture, the project aims to bring teachers and students in contact with concepts (values, skills, attitudes and knowledge) on the basis of which social interaction in democratic states is ideally constituted. It is carried out with the support of the international organisation, in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Religious Affairs and the Office of the National Rapporteur on Combating Trafficking in Human Beings of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
