Educational Goals

Children are expected to:

  • identify gender stereotypes within the repetitive structure of classical fairy tales and reflect critically on it,
  • interact in an entertaining way and, in a safe environment, reflect on the impact of stereotypical gender perceptions on their choices, behaviours and relationships,
  • be empowered in recognising their own preferences alongside those of others and to develop skills of equal cooperation and a desire to establish healthy social relationships,
  • cultivate their critical thinking, freedom of expression and emotional empathy for all that is different and different, and to
  • assert their right to strengthen their self-confidence in their everyday choices.

The school community is expected to:

  • transform the classroom and the school into an environment that provides freedom of expression for all, regardless of age, gender or cultural background,
    promote participatory decision-making processes,
  • encourage participants and stakeholders to express themselves in public through the final performance,
prevent and addressing discrimination based on gender expression,
  • prevent and addressing gender stereotyping and bullying, and
  • compile a dossier to be submitted to the Institute of Educational Policy (IEP) with a view to producing educational content for schools.
